Terms and conditions

1. Registration

Your registration implicates your adhesion to the terms and conditions of the site. The contract of the excursion begins with the acceptance of terms and conditions. When you sign up 3rd parties to your chosen excursion, you accept the terms and conditions on their behalf. When your registration has been received, you will receive a confirmation with the methods for payment. In order to ensure efficient organization, we urge you to reserve in advance.

2. Insurance

Insurance for cancellations and reimbursement: An insurance for cancellation fees and reimbursement is recommended. Health and accident insurance : Each client is obligated to obtain health and accident insurance before the start of the excursion. Civil Responsibility: Our clients are covered by our Civil Responsibility insurance while inside of our vehicles, however outside of vehicles, clients are not insured. The responsibility of the company is limited to the terms of its insurance contract.

3. Client cancellation

If you are forced to cancel your trip, please inform us as rapidly as possible. If cancellation is made more the 48 hours before the start of the excursion, cancellation fees are 30% of the price. If cancellation is made less than 48 in advance or the client does not come to the meeting point, no reimbursement will be made. If an excursion needs to be stopped before it’s intended duration, or if the guide must stop an excursion due to the mental or physical state of a participant, reimbursement cannot be granted. All additional costs will be billed to the client. Additional costs, such as shows, demonstrations etc, will be charged in full upon bookings.

4. Cancellations by Verbier Excursions

In the event of exceptional circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, strikes, or political upheavals), we reserve the right to cancel a trip in order to preserve the safety of participants. You will be informed as quickly as possible. In case of the above scenario, you will be refunded in full. Other refunds cannot be claimed.

5. Responsibility

Verbier Excursions cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries, delays, strikes, closures, cancellations related to events outside of the company’s control or loss of objects. The company assumes no liability for any delay, change of departure date or time, or for any missed connection due to our transportation or excursions. No responsibility for charges incurred will therefore be attributed to Verbier Excursions. Personal items left in vehicules will be returned when possible, but their return cannot be guaranteed. Guides cannot guarantee absolute security in case of the general risks of any activity in the mountains. Clients should be aware of natural hazards related to any activity when in the mountains, which are always present, despite the organization and preparation of both Verbier Excursions and it’s guides. In the case of a legal dispute, Verbier Excursions is domiciled in Bagnes, in the Canton of Wallis, Switzerland.

6. Non-use of certain benefits

If a client chooses not to take advantage of any of the options included in the price of an excursion, no reimbursement for unused activities will be made. If any activity included in the price of the excursions is unable to happen for any reason beyond our control (eg: weather conditions, local events and manifestations, technical problems with any of our providers, etc), the price of the excursion will be reimbursed to the extent that Verbier Excursions will not be charged. Any further claims by clients, on top of the reimbursement for aforementioned activity, will be denied.

7. Personal Identification

For trips abroad each passenger must hold a valid passport or appropriate identity card.

8. Unaccompanied Minors

All unaccompanied minors must bring written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

9. Grievances and Complaints

All complaints should be addressed directly to either the driver or the guide, so that an immediate solution can be found. All oral grievances made after the end of the trip will not be considered. Any other complaints must be in written form and addressed directly to Verbier Excursions.
