Depart Verbier in the morning to visit an artisan cheese maker on the road to Sierre.
Enjoy an aperitif and amuse-bouche at the Château de Villa tasting room in Sierre, where they offer more than 500 hand selected fine vintages and the know-how of more than 70 wine makers.
Sample 5 different varieties of local raclette cheese in a magnificent restaurant located within a 17th century castel.*
Follow the scenic route to Grimentz, making several stops to enjoy the beautiful landscape and take photos.
Guided visit of the quaint village of Grimentz, situated 1570m above sea level in the Anniviers valley, a post-card perfect village known for granaries blackened by the sun and balconies covered with vibrant geraniums.
Stop for coffee in the charming village of Vercorin on the way down to the Rhone Valley.
Tasting of local wines: Whether you’re a novice or a true connoisseur, discover and develop your palette and awaken the epicurean inside.
Return to Verbier in the early evening.
* The Valais museum of vine and wine is open from April until November if you would like to add it to the visit.
